Dentalis Bio Solution
SHORT Implants

זWith Dentalis Bio Solution SHORT Implants you can:

  • Increase patient acceptance
  • Offer a clinically-proven solution
  • Minimize bone grafting procedures
  • Maximize implant placement possibilities
  • Offer single unit restorations without splinting.

Designing an implant to transfer the occlusal forces on its prosthetic restoration to its surrounding bone with efficiency and stability poses an engineering challenge.

Dentalis™ Implants is offering two types of short implants: The S2-Screw implant, with V-shaped thread and pitch 0.6, which is mainly designed for dense bone (type 1,2);
and the Vi-Versatile implant with progressive thread and wide pitch (1.2), designed for all types of bone.

No single design feature can meet the challenge; rather, especially for short implants, a variety of parts are designed to work together. It is important to realize that the entire
design of short implants maximizes the effectiveness of each of its features within the implant’s available surface area and length.

The Dentalis SHORT® Implant is an example of a geometric concept that successfully transfers the occlusal forces on its prosthesis to its surrounding bone by appropriately
integrating the following features:
A friction fit abutment with abutments for the internal hex implants have a male hex that tapers one degree from the base of the abutment body to the bottom of the hex.
As the abutment is seated into the implant under applied torque, the abutment hex frictionally engages the walls of the implant’s internal hex.

The result is a friction-fit that virtually eliminates rotation between components. Dentalis short implants also offer a sub-crestally placed sloping shouldered
implant with a plateaued tapered root form body.

With the help of unique surface treatments developed by Dentalis Bio Solution BAS™ for more bone-implant contact and faster healing, the short implant also has micro and mini threads,
which help to protect the bone through optimal biomechanical and biological conditions, distributing the optimal load, eliminating micro-movements and micro-leakage,
and switching platforms for maintenance of the marginal bone.

Additionally, all of the features combined of these short implants allow for healthy and aesthetically pleasing results, along with callus formation of the cortical-like bone with central
vascular systems. More importantly, the concept as a whole offers the ability to place an implant in edentulous sites where there is very little bone height,
which not only omits the costs and morbidity of bone grafting procedures, but also the costs simple inability to place an implant.
