Digital Graphic Designer

Digital Graphic Designer works under the direction of the Creative Director to help develop strategy and execution of artwork, collaborating with the Senior Web Designer to develop visual media for our digital space. This designer will have expertise in developing brand experiences throughout the digital space (websites, social media and e-shops) The Digital Graphic Designer will have the ability to see an idea through from concept to execution.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Create and iterate websites using HTML, CSS and basic Javascript
  • Work within existing and evolving brand guidelines to extend the esthetic across deliverables
  • Collaborate with various internal teams to develop creative that helps push the brand forward
  • Work with project managers to establish and follow project guidelines
  • Provide creative innovation for the projects worked on, and for the creative team as a whole
  • Develop best practices, processes, and innovation to speed the development timeline
  • Work in an evolving, team-oriented environment
  • Adhere to all inter-departmental processes and procedures
  • Communicate with personnel associated with project to ensure it meets requirements
  • Mentor and share knowledge with other designers
  • Guide vendors in the accurate production of digital media
  • Participate in organizational discussions that may not pertain directly to design
  • Maintain high skill levels in software programs required to perform assigned job functions
  • Other responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS and basic Javascript
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite
  • A digtally-focused portfolio of creative work
  • Technical knowledge and understanding of mobile/browser/platform constraints and how they affect design.
  • Copy writing, illustration, motion & 3D design a plus
  • Punctual, reliable, and accountable
  • Have excellent task management skills 

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field and/or combiation of experience
  • 2+ years experience working in a design/creative capacity
